Brewed in collaboration with our friends from Fifth Hammer, B&E, and the Brewminaries! This Australian Sparkling Ale is a highly carbonated classic style from the land of koalas and emus. Our version uses Australian Summer hops atop a base of European malts for a hazy yet easy-drinking beer with notes of melon, apricot & grass from the hop additions. Enjoy the serenity. But wait there's more. We took that beer and dumped it in to barrels with Brett C. “So. Much. Serenity.” Is outta the barrels and in the brite tank! Tasting great. Dry, sparkling. pineapple, brett oaky majestical-ness. Come by Friday for a taste.
Founded in New York City, Mutiny Distribution is the world's first exclusive mead distributor. In celebration of the holidays and end of year, Mutiny Distribution is hosting Brewminaries members at its warehouse for an intimate introduction (or reintroduction) to the world's oldest and most diverse alcoholic beverage: mead. At the tasting, attendees will learn more about this storied libation and the budding industry behind it, sample the most comprehensive mead portfolio ever put together (roughly forty meads will be on showcase), and get to meet some of the people behind the world's leading meaderies. So put down the eggnog and pumpkin spice ales for an evening, this’ll surely be a night to remember!
A Brewminaries' meeting. We'll be tasting an experiment. This year we're keeping the experiment conditions a secret until after the tasting, to remove any biases. After we've tried all the beers, we'll find out what conditions we were testing and what the feedback on those conditions was.
We love to talk about beer, we certainly love to brew beer, and we love to drink it even more. But have you ever considered a career in the industry? Working in the beer business can be as rewarding as it gets, and suffice it to say, you can come out of it with a more than your fair share of great stories. Join Chris McClellan, a beer industry vet and Certified Cicerone, in this intimate chat about his experience working and living great beer. He’ll share some stories, talk about the real world application of the Cicerone Program, and answer any questions you might have for someone out in the trenches.
Chris McClellan was born in Burlington, Vermont and will readily admit that an ideal day would involve a sunny porch, a cold pint, a few good friends, and not much else. Suffice it to say that he isn't shy when it comes to talking shop about great beer. Chris works as a Guinness Brewery Ambassador, educator, and consultant to the beer industry. In his former life, Chris worked at Magic Hat Brewing Company, and more recently as an independent brand consultant for the beer industry. Chris also founded and runs The Brew Enthusiast, a website dedicated to industry storytelling and the human experience behind your favorite breweries.
